FAQs

Transition from Optum Specialty Pharmacy to Fuze Health

Why are my fertility medications being transferred from Optum to Fuze Health?

Optum Specialty Pharmacy will no longer dispense fertility medication after February 18, 2026. After that date, active fertility prescriptions with remaining refills will be transferred to Fuze Health.

Will my other, non-fertility medications be transferred to Fuze Health?

No, only your fertility medications will be transferred to Fuze Health.

Will my provider know that I am now getting my medications from Fuze Health?

OSP has notified all prescribers within its network about the transfer. OSP will send all active prescriptions with refills to Fuze Health. Please have your provider send any future fertility prescriptions to us after February 18. We accept all fertility benefit plans currently accepted by OSP.

Medication and Delivery

How will my medications be delivered?

Your fertility medications will be delivered via free, next day mail.

Do you charge for shipping/delivery?

Next day shipping is free for fertility medications.

Medication Specifics

How far in advance should I order my medications?

We recommend placing your order at least one week in advance before you’re scheduled to start your medications. This allows a window for any unanticipated delays with processing or delivery.

What is included in my order?

Injectable orders include syringes, needles, and alcohol swabs.

How should I handle refrigerated items in my delivery, and what should I do if something is missing?

Please open any delivery containing refrigerated medications immediately and store them as directed. Be sure to check all packaging materials for needles, syringes, or other supplies. In the rare instance that an item is missing, please reach out to us within seven days so we can help.

How do I safely dispose of sharps containers?

You can find your nearest approved collection center here. Please note: Fuze Health is not an approved collection center and cannot accept any used sharps containers.
